This is a part of adulting. We have to cook and we have to clean.Cooking is so much fun and with these new pots and pans I have reached a whole new level of cooking. No more burning food or undercooking. With these pots and pans I get a perfect area of heat. The food cooks perfectly and cleanup is a sinch.Made ribs last night with my roasting pan from this set. My husband said that is gonna have to soak all night or you will be scrapping til your arms hurt.No so my friend. All that cooked on mess rinsed right off with hot water.I have found the pots and pans to use for life and these are it.Oh and my husband isn't allowed to use them. Haha,Happy Cooking...Great pressure cooker!I have the 20cm, 24cm, and 28cm casseroles. That roughly translates to 3, 5 and 7 quart pots. I started looking for something big that I could use in place of my 7 quart Dutch oven, which was too heavy for me. I found the 28cm Mepra with the lid at Home Goods. The 1st time I used it, I was in love. I starting researching Mepra and scoured Home Goods for the next few months before finding the 2 smaller sizes with lids. I rarely use anything else now. They are heavy bottomed but light weight, easy to clean, low maintenance and can go into a hot oven. I've had these pots for several years and haven't seen them in any store since then. The Mepra casserole is a beautiful shape, not quite a tulip. It has a heavy sandwiched bottom and conducts heat well. It is also well balanced and sits perfectly on our smaller burner, exactly covering the burner. On the interior are metric markings in 1/2 liter increments to 2 liters. I love that it can be used on an induction burner, as we had some sort of electrical problem around a month ago, and our electrician is away. Fortunately we have a nice induction burner, but only had 1 pan for it until it became our primary cooktop. We now have a nice set of Kitchenaid non-stick and a Berghoff Scala skillet which came with the cooktop. Given the prices I saw for Mepra cookware on Amazon and other shopping sites and its self-described luxury market target audience, I expected this 1950 Casserole pot to be the Maserati of casserole pots. This Great pressure cooker with secured safety system. Made in Italy & I found it at the cheapest price here. Unfortunately the packaging was broken when it arrived.Super Qualität, würde ich immer wieder kaufen.OttimeLe ho comprate per mia figlia!
